Elyse Wolf's drawings are rendered with the skill of an Old Master but at the same time her images have a distinctly original and contemporary look. Elegant draftsmanship and a strong sense of form and composition are trademarks of her work. She is equally skilled at pastels, watercolor and pen and ink, but colored pencil is her current medium of choice because of its unique ability to combine the detail and directness of drawing with the rich colors and texture of paint.
